Omnium-Santé is a health prevention center governed by the rules of medical ethics.

In recent years, the right to privacy has become a primary issue. There is no information as private and personal as the of health profile of an individual. Health professionals can, among other things, obtain information about mental health, sex life, an illness or particular family conditions of a person. From the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the person's right to privacy is a fundamental right. Thus, it recognizes that everyone has the right to respect for his honour, his dignity and reputation (Article 4), the right to privacy (Article 5) and the right to professional secrecy (Article 9).

Every measures is taken to ensure that your right to privacy is assured. The law guarantees protection of all data relating to an individual a health professional can collect.

When inside the premises of a health facility, the Law of health and social services protects this right with the confidentiality of information statement.

Individuals receiving care by any health professional, either in a public of private health facility, have every bit of their personal information protected. The rules of professional secrecy governed by the Code of ethics for each professional Order is applied to every of its members and article 9 of Charte des droits et libertés de la personne du Québec covers that right.

Additional Laws complete the previous dispositions. The Law of access to information from public organisms and protection on personal information apply only to establishments not covered by articles 17 to 27, of the health and social services Law. Private practices are ruled by the Law of protection on personal information in the private sector.

  Politiques de confirmation de rendez-vous
et Instructions de préparation au bilan de santé :

Right after you make your appointment, you will receive a confirmation by either postal, fax or email. You'll have precisions on the day and hour of your scheduled appointment, the name of your assigned doctor, our complete address, prior instructions for your health assessment, and our cancellation policy.

  Terms and conditions
For individuals, services are to be paid fully on the same day of the health assessment (Visa and Mastercard are accepted). For businesses, to be paid 10 days after issuing the bill.

Fees for cancellation: Less then 72 business hours before confirmed appointment date – 30% of package price. Between 3 to 7 business days before confirmed appointment date – 150$.

No-show to appointment fee: full price of package must be paid.
